47" wide by 7" tall roughly. subtract out the small bit for the curve which is about an inch deep at the center and then the cutout deflector if you have one.

I opted to go without as well, I want to massage the laser cuts a bit so that it I end up using straps I don't want them to get cut by the sharp edges with vibration over time and end up damaging or losing something. Once I'm satisfied with my customization I'll drop the works off at a local and trusted powder coater.

You should be pleasantly surprised. My laser cutter does outstanding work I've never had any rough edges with them

Ah nice call. I've spent the last 2 weeks getting my shell ready. Was blue. As of today now it's red. It's been a trip.

Got my rack today! Ordered it the first day the GB opened, got a shipping note from UPS over the weekend, it must have shipped Monday because I got it today! Sadly, no instructions came with it but I found installation guides on the website. Put it together in less than an hour. The biggest pain was getting the bar mounted to the windshield deflector- slotting the hardware and sliding the bar on- lost an end plate nut thingy a few times and of course not one of the end pieces, one of them in the middle so I had to take it off and redo. Then after it was all together, realized why I had so much extra hardware- after reading the instructions for how to install the windshield deflector and how it told you the order of hardware- screw, locking nut, then washer...I had realized my mistake and it to take it all apart and add the missing hardware. All in all no biggie. Hoping to get it mounted on the truck tomorrow. The 83 degree weather suckered me outside to the beach before I could get it mounted. Life in Cali is rough. :rolleyes:Thanks again for the GB @zscott you make one fine product! At first I regretted not getting the powdercoated cross bars because for some reason I thought I could rattle can them and save some money. But I actually don't mind the clear anodized look and it will absorb less heat since I park my truck in my driveway.

Took me several hours on my own, but I am a happy camper. I'm curious whether I should leave the feet locations where they are now or move the forward and rearward most bars closer to the center and put the feet there?
