Yup....custom trimmed with a sos streamline bumper. I wanted to move the fogs up higher like a 3rd gen so I needed to customize my front end and fabricate new fogs and brackets.20200308_202359.jpg 20191026_152827.jpg

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but you can bend it back out and run a weld behind it to reinforce it.

My bad for not searching.......Has anyone put these on and had an alignment that proved no rubbing? And that’s with 285’s Or will I indeed need a CMC no matter what???

285s will rub offroad. CMC is a must if you don't want to rub offroad with 285s. Good luck with your truck.

I know off road with flex and what not I’d rub.....I shoulda been more clear. Just street driving. With a good alignment and caster, should I be rubbing? The guy that did my alignment a said he gave it all he could for positive caster and I rubs when I turn just before full lock. It rubs at the back of my wheel well on the outside corner of the cab mount and the plastic next to it.

I had my alignment done with a 3.7° caster and I still would have rubbed. A CMC is 98% needed for a 2nd gen if you don't want to rub with a 285. This might also depend upon your rim offset, and if you are using a spacer or aftermarket UCA. It is best just to get it done. BAMF @JLee makes a great CMC plate and a step by step how to with pictures on their website. Highly recommended.

To answer your question, mine is rubbing the plastic fender well and wasn't before. I am actually getting a CMC this Sat. morning along with my Total Chaos cam gussets (Doh!) Trimming the plastic was the easy part ;)
