I DID NOT have a pretty good guess that this was going to happen.

I didn't know that the prerequisite of participating in any GB is to dig deep into a previous GB of his that has 110 pages, in order to find out if he screwed people in that GB.

I did what 60 other people did. I had faith in the fact that since he mentioned his first GB was successful, that why wouldn't this one be as "successful"?

There was no mention from him that he had trouble meeting timeline commitment with his first GB.

All he did on this second GB was give us a worst case arrival date of Oct 1. No one had an issue with that date when he gave it to us.

It was AFTER that date that we all started taking issue.

That, coupled with no communication, would make anyone take notice and say something.

$35 or $335 dollars is not THE issue to me. I lost that in my 401k in the first 20 sec of opening bell the day after the presidential election.

Hell, I can probably find those $$ buried in my couch cushions. Just ask @fatfurious2 @stairgod

Go look at the tracking numbers for the first group buy.

Thread was started in late March. Snorkels were delivered in late July. That's 4 months.

Compare that thread to this one. Thread was started in early August. 4 months from now hasn't come yet.

I mean you try and buy from reputable websites correct? Make sure it's TRUSTe/Verisign/SSL certified before you give them your credit card info?

because this is a forum, and not a website. We all thought that @mahaloTaco was a trustworthy guy.. and since he had completed a GB before. Guess we were wrong

 

I have trusted people on TW for several years. Several GB's. Didn't think I had to worry here.

Same here, and especially with one "successful" gb under his belt for the same product. Him implying that the first gb went off without a hitch was the first of many lies he told us. Get off his nuts @pittim . He either fucked up beyond repair or he was a lying pos from the gate. Either way- fuck him.

 

I blame all of this on @ramonortiz55 .

He set the bar of TW GB trustworthiness so high, that we all thought all GB coordinators have met this same standard of excellence.

Then, @maholo stepped in.

And all levels of trust with anyone in TW Group Buy-dom has been destroyed. Crushed.
