So just poke around and anything I see basically. Always wondered if it's safe to just unplug everything. Any way to seal the cab off better?

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I used red (permanent) Loctite to hold the studs in the snorkel itself. Blue (non-permanent) Loctite for the nuts.

Some people may disagree with this video on applying the grease but i never had a problem with my truck applying grease on the connector contacts.

I agree and a lot of the connectors from the factory from almost all the car companies have grease in the them. Nothing new. I put them on my cars and truck.

That last nut was a real bitch! But vs taking the fender off, I ended up taking the hood off instead. Got it on there tight though...

Did my snorkel install (and bolted up Demello x-wings and rear diff breather mod) Saturday with the help of @Texoma. I'd guess about 2.5 hrs for the Snorkel itself. Helps that he has the same snorkel in his truck.

I was able to get that top nut locked on tight. Took a good while but a ratcheting wrench helped a lot.

It has been a long and treacherous journey with all of you. Glad so many of us are getting these bad boys installed!

I am still in awe of how big the hood scoop is...
