My Dakars were really stiff but not so much anymore. Maybe cause I took out an overload leaf. In any case I really wanna try the expos. If I don't like them I'll sell them and put the Dakars back on with the overload leaf and stock length shackles.

No. I don't want anymore height back there.

If someone wants to pick up a pallet from young bros, I can ship it there. Just need a couple more people from Maui to order.

I can't complain with my AP sliders. I got the APEX model without the fill plate (cuts the costs down by $129 too). basically, it's like the HD sliders, but with a full mounting plate, and you don't need to drill holes for the front leg. I believe that's how @Vanguard & @rka did it... and so I went that route too. with free shipping, it was a hard deal to pass up.

edit: you still need to drill 3-4 holes on the bottom of the frame to complete the bolt-on. I don't think it's *required* if you're not using your sliders for lifting or actual off roading... it's basically gonna be a glorified nerf bar :spy:

Totally understand and probably better that way cuz you save me from spending too much for now lol. Are you gonna install yourself or have a shop do it? I like tag along if your doing it so I can learn a thing or two for when it's time for me to go LT.

I'm debating if I should spend the extra for fill plates to prevent rock chips since I'm not running mudflaps. Either way, I saw @polekasta and @Vanguard sliders and they looked good. Probably gonna go with the bolt on option if they have it.

yeah, I still get my cut/shortened front mud flaps on, so I never go with the fill plates. both HD and APEX are bolt-on, but iirc, HD requires you to drill 7-8 holes per side, and APEX is only 3-4 per side, to complete the install.

i only had to drill 3 or 4 holes for each side for my HD. It's no that bad.
