You got that right. Figured it would be a problem getting the light bar in and the wiring would be a snap. Was I wrong.

You can get the connector thru if you push that whole grommet where the wires go thru to the side and feed the wires thru and than get the grommet snug against the edges again.

NVM, I see you already got it wired up. I got mine done this afternoon as soon as the harness hit the porch. Glad I was off today. Install literally took all of 20 minutes.

Are you talking about the whole rubber piece or the inner piece where the main wiring harness is already going through?

Most likely. Posted in other threads but I sold all my designs to Cali Raised and am stopping retail sales. So I am selling what I have then that's it. Not sure if they will do the premium harnesses like I do.

I got the bar installed in about an hours. The harness.... I am still working on. Sigh. I hope I can reproduce your success soon.

Yes, if you push it from the edge you can get the whole thing thru. It's super tight but I tried going thru the cut nipple and got too much resistance with a hanger so I quickly went to plan B.

To modify the switch side of the harness is fairly simple if you use the instructions given in this thread. I wired mine up to use the same switch supplied in the premium harness except with the blue backlight to match the interior of the 2016/2017 MY. I do have to get back out and properly aim the bar. The way it is aimed now I was not overly impressed with the light coverage from the bar when I ran out quick earlier. I was seeing tree tops so I know it is more than likely a result of poor aiming. When I installed it I just positioned it on the fly.

I was able to get the wiring through the nipple but you have to cut the wire sheathing back.

Which fuse are you third gen guys foung the add-a-fuse to to illuminate when other dash light/switched are lit? I apparently selected the wrong one, light works perfectly but the switch on illuminates when the bar is on.

I ended up going your route, after about an hour or so of trying to get it to work through the nipple with no luck. I was even getting resistance with a hanger. My truck had the tech package, it made me wonder if some trucks have more wires going through the main harness that makes it more difficult to utilize the nipple method.

So for you guys running through the nipple, what do you do if you have multiple harnesses to run through? Like a bumper light bar, windshield light bar, and ditch lights? These will be the first ones I'm running but plan to add a bumper light bar in the future and want to set myself up to make running that easy without having to rework anything I have already done

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
This set up seems to be the best if you're going to run multiple lights or accessories.

It is too rich for me, but it's a great setup to control multiple things, looks extremely clean inside and under the hood.

It is approximately the same length as the generic one that comes with it.
