Hey man, as far as quality goes I have yet to find another cover to even compare to the Bakflip. I never knew nothing about them since i spoke with @ramonortiz55 and heard he was doing a group buy on them, so on that note i started digging and reading up on them and everything I've read was positive with all their new design for the 2016, you get to keep your side bed rails unlike the 2nd generation trucks where you loose them! To me it sounds like whole cover is made from quality products, hence the high price but you got to pay for quality. Or you could always go buy one of those cheap unlock able $250 ones. I was going to get the G2 at first then after some research I noticed that the F1 was a little better (+ the 3 year warranty!) overall then digging deeper I thought that there is that occasional time where i take my 20ft ladder places along with hauling plywood and such. So I saw that F1-CS with the rack and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be purchasing one of them just to have the capability of the rack!!! I mean if we get 20% off and free shipping that's one heck of a discount on the $1471 price tag and well worth it in my book! Also probably going to be purchasing one of those Bakbox to store my tools! But here is a link to the comparison chart if you haven't seen it yet! I hope i answered some of your questions!

surprised they dont make a bakbox for our trucks it would be really convenient. I'll let you know if I'm interested, just bought my 2015 a week or so ago and gotta recoup some moola

also watched an install video and looks like you have to drill into your bed for the drain?

 

on the last group buy, one of the tundra guys received a defective unit.

the vendor and bakflip worked together in getting his problem solved. they even offered a refund if his problem didnt get solved.

They drain holes are a option. You don't need them. If you want them you can go buy a tube adapter for the 7/8 hose to the size of the current drain hole in the truck and it will work perfect!!!
