I've been saying this all along...and extend it beyond 4ft....compromise even 7FT would be attractive

that's fine. not all of us need a switch plate, nor a custom tacoma specific panel. in that case, then the ebay special is what works. :)

Ill make sure to remove you from the list.

I know I want to get in on this so I'm in for Fuse panel + @@Yotamac mounting plate + @@Iggy. switch plate

I'm not about the switch backs, the have to be used on air on board switches? Or something similar

I saw them early in the post. Push button OEM Toyota style. I don't understand how those would work in panel. The rocker style I understand how that would work.

    I'm saying this:

units 15.00% (-$27.00)+ free shipping + free battery leads + 7FT wire instead of (4ft)

To reiterate basetaco's comments...but adding 3FT more wire length.

    But currently it's this:

    units 15.00% (-$27.00)+ free shipping

Yeah they use your typical contura rocker switch...like what OTRATTW sells or air on board...NOT the push button switches. Just look in Iggy's groupbuy thread and you'll see pics...

Yes that is the idea...switch pops into the plate and then the switchbacks should be plug and play and mate with the switch body...I haven't looked at switch body diagrams on OTRATTW for example, but I do think the pin layout may change from switch body to switch body depending on how many LED's it has in it for illumination, I think all the other stuff like power (relay in and out) and ground for the actual switch stays the same. But idk you'd have to ask Iggy or Yotamac or someone.

I think the original switchbacks were made with OTRATTW Contura V in mind.

for example and comparison to see what im talking about:
    this -
    http://www.otrattw.com/wiring/KW66a.pdf

    vs this

    http://www.otrattw.com/wiring/A60.pdf

EDIT: i'm guessing you'd have to specify what switches you are going for so they can add the jumpers appropriately based on the switch diagram.

Guys before this gets out of hand listen to @JdevTac

I get all my switches from @OTRATTW (OTRATTW). Now each switch may be different depending on which type you get. The most common switch type is a SPST (Single Pole Single Throw) with a dependent lower light (meaning it's depending on the switch being on to be on) and independent upper light (meaning it takes power to be on from a separate source).

This is what's a little tough when it comes to making these boxes in mass production and then supporting them. Since they are custom it takes a bit of homework to either know how the boxes come prewired, or how you want to wire your system.

In regards to the eBay deal, there is always products that are cheaper. Like any business there are different costs associated with making something. Some have a higher overhead or margins to justify making a product. Even if they are the exact same thing they may be different price so take a look at the big picture and see what your getting to see if it's worth it to you.

I can make these boxes for the same price as they eBay ones, but I can't offer support or custom models, which is what most are in need of, so it's not worth my time if guys are just going to get upset since they don't know what to do.

Anyway, I didn't want to get into that part of the discussion and I hope this GB hits all it's numbers, but like anything thats electrical I highly recommend you draw a diagram ahead of time to know what you're going to need. Know what switches you're going to buy and see if they are compatible with the pigtails. If you don't even the cheapest box you can find will be expensive if it doesn't fit your needs.
