    I upgraded my wires as well. I used the wire that you are referring to upgrade the power wire that runs into the stock relay box.

    Just got a gallon of fluid film so I'll be good. Just waiting for it to warm up a bit to spray it on. I ride the snowmobile when the weather turns and drive the work truck 95% of the time. Salt should be much of a factor but thanks for your concern
