I had a friend rip one completely out, just caught a tree root (thank you PNW!) in the right spot and it was gone. Luckily, I carried a pack of valve stems, pliers and had OBA at the time, we were back in business in no time. The real issue was reseating his tire bead since it went fully flat in no time and popped off as we got him to a safe spot.

These would be a very nice addition to the toolkit! Valve stems can be a Bear to install on the trail.

@ramonortiz55 Never even thought about this.... I don't have stems nor know how to do them. LoL these could save my bacon if they are worth a crap.

Think I'm interested in a pack of permanent ones. I carry wrenches in the truck so wouldn't need the wing nuts!

Edit: Just a thought... how would this relate to the TPMS in the vehicle?? Aren't our sensors in the valve stems or something?

Even though I'll only use these in an emergency, I got the permanents since I always have a ratchet set in the truck with me.
