I have a short bed. It looks like Shasta is about as big as I can go before things get wonky, though I'd really like a Rainier.

Anyone have a summary of upcoming GB details? I'm ready to pull the trigger on buying a RTT. Saw somewhere someone said discount was between 15-20% but there's already a discount of 15% to TW members right? just trying to see what added benefit the GB provides before I order.

What height do you want to put the tent at? You could put it just above the roof line and have it hang over the roof slightly

Yeah, 15% now or 20% in the GB. Keep in mind, buy now, you get your tent now. Assuming it's in stock. Wait for the GB and it may be summer before you see your tent.

Got money burning a hole in my bank account. Wife is eyeing it talking about new furniture. End of the month can't come fast enough.

I'd love to have one, 2 of my friends have them and say nothing but great things about them. But this year, the IRS decided I didn't deserve any money....they want MORE from me, maybe next year!

I ordered a CBI Fab Bed Rack. It will sit a few inches below the roof-line, so the only real option is to have it hang out the back. I've gotten used to the idea of a 55" tent now. I'm planning to do some awning/rooms for those times I want more accommodations. Something tells me my wife will go once in a while, but it's mostly going to be me and the kids.

That being said, I'm seriously considering Gordigear. Lot's of cool features for very similar pricetag. There doesn't seem to be a lot of anecdotal information out there, though. But what little there is has all been stellar. Decisions, decisions!

Go with what you know is guarenteed and is backed by great customer service... Bobby at CVT backs his product 1000% and if something is wrong and its his fault or manufacturers fault he will take care of it. Damage in shipping? Hell take care of it... shit he even helped out @Blackout14 with his tent and its not even a CVT. Granted it eas just mounting hardware but still. Bobby takes care of his customers really well. I love my summit series tent.

If we do end up with a 20% group buy, CVT ends up being less money. (Though this assumes I drive down to Bend, OR from Seattle - even factoring in 2 to 3 tanks of gas.) Does anyone know if/when this will get kicked off? Is there a new thread I'm not seeing?
