Got the Awning on Saturday and the freight company is delivering the tent tomorrow afternoon. Can't do much with it though as my truck is at a local fab shop getting the front cab mount chopped and the BAMF rear shock towers installed. Can't wait to get it all together.

 

Still waiting on my Relentless Fabrication bed rails. Tracking still shows no movement since Feb 28th when I ordered them. I hate waiting.

 

Fell apart... in about a week. Was paper based.

 

Did they ship on the 28th or did you order on the 28th? I would think you wouldn't get tracking info until they actually ship.

 

Hey, how are people planning on mounting the new tents? Roof, bed rack or trailer....
And any ideas on where you might go for your maiden voyage?

 

I have a CBI bed rack on order for over a month... Expecting it any day now. My first spot will be somewhere near Bend as I'll likely sleep in it before driving back to Seattle.

 

I'm looking at bed racks now but plan on using ours at a New Hamshir state park for a weekend soccer tournament.

 

I'm debating on a rack or shell with a rack on top. The enclosed storage would be handy.

 

I may be a bit biased, but this (IMO) is the sharpest looking bed rack I've seen:

Also, as for covering things up, I am doing a setup like this:

It's not super secure, but out-of-sight-out-of-mind, plus my tailgate locks.

 

It would be a no brainer if I had an existing shell to mount the tent.

 

Was there supposed to be an issue of "Cascade Journal" boxed up with my tent?

 

Ordered on the 28th. they have a track your order progress feature on their website. Shows what stage your order is at.

 

I thought choosing a bed rack would be easy but there is just so many good ones out there

 

Mine is being delivered tomorrow. Was originally told the Mt.Shasta's wouldn't be in stock till the end of this month! Still waiting on my Prinsu rack though

 

I do like that rack. I need to fit a dog under the rack/shell so I need at least a 10 inch height above the rails. I would probably do something like that otherwise.

I'm leaning that way, just hard to find a shell that isn't super expensive. Wish I had one already.

Apparently we think alike, my CBI rack should be here by the end of the month.
