    5. Pulley system.
    6. Rope and a box.

    Joking aside -

most people with RTTs and pets end up going back to ground tents for this exact reason.

That is why I got a RTT with an annex, so the dog could sleep in it.

@JLink's dog climbs the ladder... his dog isn't 95 pounds but maybe you can teach the pup to climb

Ordered, should arrive next week, only 1 Mt Bachelor Extended Summit Series left.

Nothing like waiting until the last minute to make up my mind on which one I wanted.

Mine was delivered today!! The quality of the tent is truly something to appreciate. :bananadance: It's pretty much a big paper weight though until my rack gets in.:(

I will be mounting on some KB Voodoo HD bed cross bars. I didnt want the weight very high, and it should keep the tent (when closed) below the roof line, so hopefully it wont add too much wind resistance.

Got my truck back from the FAB shop this morning so I was able to get the tent and awning mounted finnaly. Mocked it up in the driveway after I got it mounted to check it out. The Mt. Rainier Extended Stargazer Pioneer is a beast. Much more tent than I need but I love it. Used Fourtrex mounts for the 55" awning and mounted it off the back of the truck. I also have an ARB 2500 going off the drivers side. Having had a chance to use both CVT and ARB awnings now, I have to say I prefer the ARB. It stows smaller and I think the attention to detail on the small stuff is a bit better. I do like that the CVT mounting channels are larger alowing you to use beefy hardware. Thanks so much for putting this on @ramonortiz55 and @Cascadia Tents for making an awesome product.

Nope, I'd rather have him with me keeping me warm all night. On a cold night in Mojave he climbed in my sleeping bag and we spooned all night. Also I can blame my farts on him when my wife comes camping.

I tried blaming my farts on my 2 year old but they rat me out every time.

Mine climbs up by herself, I just climb up behind her with one arm around her to help he incase she gets nervous. Getting her OUT of the tent is harder than getting her IN the tent. She won't climb down the ladder, and she doesn't like being picked up, but I usually coax her to the edge of the mattress and then scoop her up and climb down, using the rungs of the ladder to help support her while I take each step.

Daisy is a nut. Really bad separation anxiety, so she doesn't have a choice but to go with me everywhere. She's even been on the roof of my house, and regularly hangs out in my treehouse by herself. She also likes riding atv's.
