Yeah.. like Dorkels, A-TRAC and CRAWL mode.

All standard on every model. ;)

It's seriously as easy as popping out the the uniball and replacing with the Delta Joint.

Delta Joints are NOT compatible with ball joint equipped control arms.

They are only compatible with arms running the FK WSSX-16 and WSSX-16T uniball cups. So don't go buying a ball joint equipped version set of Dirt King upper control arms thinking you can press in Delta Joints otherwise you will be in for a serious disappointment and a huge waste of your time and efforts.

I’m not aware of any DIY threads for this but will you definitely need a press to pop out the uniball in the DK arm. Icon’s press tool kit might help you and I’m pretty sure the retro kit will come with instructions

How are these compared to SPC UCAs? Wanted a ball joint UCA as opposed to the uniball for long term durability and low maintenance.

Was literally just about to by a set of SPCs to get here while waiting for my Kings.

    99.99% sure I’ll be in.

I’m waiting to hear back from their support team about some technical aspects and I really don’t see why I won’t be able to get in on this

Also, shipping is around $35-$40 via UPS?

Ball joint cover is not included and only is designed for the Ball Joint version. He says they are only for looks as the Ball Joint is fully sealed hence not needing the Caps.

    PM sent.

I’m interested to hear more about this icon retrofit. So apparently it’s just stronger than a ball joint? Is that the only plus? I personally hate uniballs and would never use them again.

Edit: after looking into it it seems that the boxed with the icon retro may be the way to go.

I think that’s the direction I might go as well, boxed UCA w/ delta joint retro as suggested by a few on here!

Although I might just run the UCAs as is for a bit then change out the uniball when it’s time to do maintenance. To each his own!

That’s a good thought as well. I’m not the type of guy That will do the extra maintenance on exposed uniballs. I like your idea because the Icon Deltas are $200+ for a pair. Owning a Tacoma is really expensive... Owning a Toyota 4x4 is really expensive for that matter. :help:

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
Good to know about the caps. I like the look with caps and want to keep mud from settling there so not mad I ordered the caps.
I ordered DK UCA and caps for my 4Runner through a different vendor about a month ago. Still waiting... :tumbleweed:
