For the TC spindles, there's even a "core" trade in program where @glorifiedwelder will send you the reinforced spindles for a direct swap, and you'll send him back the core spindles within 30 days. See here. Makes the decision really hard to pass up. :annoyed:

Did you have any trouble pressing those bearings in and out? What did you use?

No problem at all, unbolt them and a few taps with a rubber mallet and they loosened right up, I was able to replace them in 1 day.

I have all of this.. except Marlin LCA frame brace kit. Not sure why the double shear kit would NOT work with UCAs..

Thanks! Obviously, some double shear kits, like TC's, are not intended to work with OEM UCA's. DK's website said "The kit works with Dirt King heim upper arms and bushing upper arms.", but didn't specifically say Ball Joint UCA's, so I double-checked with Dustin to be on the safe side, and yes the ball joints work with their double shear kit.

That lower misalignment joint on your upper ball joint is not properly seated into the top of the spindle. You may want to recheck that before you go out there and start totally wailing on it.

The ball joint was referring to the part that connects to the spindle. Not sure why there would be a ball joint where the long bolt is on the UCA. I see that they dont work with stock uppers, but then why would you be reinforcing your UCA/coil tower if you still have stock UCAs?

Was still going back together in this pic, I have ran Moab twice since this and bombed Pismo Beach Dunes. It's all good Brother, thanks for looking out for me.

Got it. Not sure why they didn't list the ball joint arm as working with the double shear kit on their website, but it does. :notsure:

"The kit works with Dirt King heim upper arms and bushing upper arms. This product is not intended to be used with factory upper arms."

Are there any pix of the shear brace kit installed?
