Couple updates for anyone that cares.

    - battery mart has the odyssey group 25 (4 in stock to be exact) and is getting a shipment of group 35's on April 12. One of each cost me $443 with free shipping.

    - I have been looking for a good wireless switch option and Matt was nice to point me to the Switch Pros SP 8100...

    http://store.switchpros.com/sp-8100-8-switch-panel-power-system/

Nice customer service lady there called me back to answer some of my questions and turns out they will have a new version of the SP 8100 out in a few weeks that will also have a bluetooth enabled voltage meter for your battery. The whole system comes with a switch panel but you can bury that under the dash somewhere and use Bluetooth switch panel and soon also the voltage meter. So no more mounting concerns. Nirvana!

I have a Switch Pro installed right now. When the dual batteries get installed I will run it of the aux. The Bluetooth capability will be nice in the RTT.

If you're going to be using Optima batteries, please let me know how they fit with the spacer that Optima provides with their batteries. They're a bit shorter than your traditional battery. So, you'll either have a an extra inch of tie-down rod sticking up or you can use the provided spacer plate. Alternatively, you can cut the tie-down rods to the appropriate length... thats what Ive done with the installs Ive done around here.

Received my OGE passenger dual battery kit today! Only had a chance to mount the tray and my Optima will arrive tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to finish up the install. Doesnt that tray just look sad without a battery!

For anyone on the fence debating whether to get this kit I will say that Matt has some of the best customer service and a high quality product.

Still working on it... maybe another week (possibly two). My plan is to have all my designs done before Overland Expo comes around in mid May. That means a tray for every Tacoma and 4runner... maybe the FJ and Tundra as well.

I have a design... probably going to be CNC'd with a laser etching. It will be at least two weeks before I can get that in CAD.

Mounted up the aux Optima battery and all the cables for the ML ACR. The only thing left to do is mount the switch in the cab, as of right now I have the switch and cable zip tied up by the fuse box. The factory battery cables don't have any flat sides for a flush mount, holes large enough for the new terminals, and have no excess slack if you need it so I had to improvise. I ended up chopping down the factory cable ends to create a somewhat flat area and then drilled a larger hole to fit the new terminals. Here is a pic but it was dark and cold so I will get more tomorrow.

Forgot to mention that the Optima supplied spacer worked great and leaves just about 3/8 inch of threads exposed.
