Looks like there are a some people that aren't proceeding with their order.

If it is possible to get in on this and take the spot of one of those that backed out, please send me a PM.

I used a 22mm Holesaw from Home Depot. Worked perfect. I was worried it would leave the edges ragged but it didn't. I don't recommend doing the job without a holesaw or holepunch. As far as using the factory strips, use them. Makes for such a cleaner install and look.

It depends if your clips stayed intact or not. half of mine fell off so some 3M double sided tape did the trick. The factory strips also have metal in them so they can bend and stay formed/flush

Each strip is held in place by 2 clips(front and back) and 2 Adhesive (double sided tape) strips (towards the rear...less than 3 inches in length). Its otherwise held by grooves in the roof line. When I reinstalled mine, I used a small amount of silicon on both sides of the where the factory double sided adhesive was at.

When you remove the strips to punch or drill the holes, be sure not to flap them around or bend them. The strips have a metal strip running down the center that help keep its form.

Yes. If you read the instructions from front runner, it covers how and where to mark.

Haha no prob. This is not per frontrunner but this is what I did

    1. Peel the weather strip back but do not remove completely. Leave it attached to the clip at the rear of the cab
    2. Find the taped holes and use a razor to poke a hole....or you can remove the tape and clean up the residue
    3. Using the long bolt, screw them into the holes...further down the better. This will help with weather strip install and alignment
    4. Once you have them screwed, use some white out or a paint pen and mark the top of the bolt heads generously....I used a paint marker from Home Depot.
    5. Lay the strip over the bolts and the marks on the bolts will transfer to the weather strip (this will let you know where you need to cut....good to note the center piece on the strip is were the metal piece is)
    6. Remove the strip From the truck
    7. Using a measuring tape, measure .50 on each side from the center of the mark spots from the bolts
    8. Grab some dikes and snip where you marked the outer .50.
    9. Next grab a utility knife and start slicing the center molding piece. No need to put too much muscle...they slice easily. (i sliced it twice them peeled it off)
    10. Run a piece of tape over the strip....side that will be showing when the strip is installed.....I did this to prevent scratching on the molding when I'm moving it around
    11. Using your holesaw, drill from the back of the strip (I used a piece of wood to lay the molding on to drill)
    12. Test for onto truck and ensure the holes line up with the screw holes
    13. Remove
    14. Put silicone about a quarter size around each screw hole. Don't be afraid to be put too much....(i also put some before and after the double sided tape that came from factory.)
    15. Lay the strip back on
    16. Put the spacers in the holes
    17. Shorter ones are for the middle
    18. Screw in frames

    Tools that helped me
10 swivel socket or swivel adaptor
    10 wrench
    13 wrench
    Dikes
    Razor
    Silicon
    Paint marker
    22mm holesaw or hole punch

Feel free to dm if you need help. I did it myself and it was pretty easy. Install was maybe HR and half if that.

How did you guys line up the holes so that the bolt can be threaded in without any issue?
