This method looks great. There is just one issue at the moment with the Iggy light bar. The bar comes with a similar mount as the bar used in the instructions. However, the mount that comes with the Iggy light has the mounting tabs toward the outside of the brackets. This makes the everything to wide. I may be able to do some trimming of the bracket to make it fit.

Not unless you want to remove the rear support.

With your mount that small you will still have room for it that direction underneath the frontrunner. Should have hit me up on that. I got your back. Ha

not all of us live in a state where we get a free car wash everyday

went to the car wash to get the salt off the truck and noticed that underneath the roof rack was a b*tch to get to

Stand in the bed and spray it first. I go underneath from the front, of the truck, and the back.

You are correct. Florida does have it's perks I guess. In all seriousness though and my smart ass comment aside, I haven't washed my truck in months.

If I was going to attempt to wash that area of the truck though (since my arm won't fit under there), I would hose it down to free up any grit or dirt as much as possible. Then I would probably attach a car wash sponge to a stick (similar to a back scrubber). That's really the only way I can think of getting under there to clean it really well.

my rack whistled quite a bit until i installed the wind deflectors. after installing the deflectors there's a much smaller whistle. it does not bother me too much, however, i am wondering about wind noise if i were to install a 40" light bar up there. for those of you who installed a light bar, what say you about the noise?

I have washed the truck once since I installed the complete platform, and it was a mother! I couldn't get to the center of the roof but I was able to clean it pretty well. The roof didn't get that dirty, I guess because of all of the coverage that the platform provides. I will try and find a small boars hair brush with wooden/plastic handle and use that to get the whole roof. Thinking about getting something like this:
