Not looking to hijack the answer to your question but I would suggest getting together with a few other Taco owners and purchase some units in order to reduce the overall shipping cost of this fantastic Canadian product.

Yes they are still in stock. If you place an order on the website it will ship out in 1-2 days. Texas is no problem and falls within our flat rate shipping option. Apologiesn the delay on response been out camping.

 

Considering that the panel doesn’t run to the edge, and the top cap on the tail gate completes the last 15cm or so, does the panel ride level and flush with this top cap?

for everyone sealing around the tailgate insert, is it really necessary? Making me debate doing it myself but would have to go to the store to buy the material and right now it’s a bit of a pain in the butt to go to these places…

 

There's nothing around the factory insert. I don't see it as an issue.

 

I used some thin foam along the sides to keep debris out.

 

Awesome, just ordered! Can't wait to get it, hopefully I receive it before my camping trip on the 4th.

 

Super happy with this. Showed up a couple days ago, 3 ½" cup holder to accommodate pint glasses. Highly recommended!

I do not have another group buy in the plans, as it was done more to help kickstart the product. I have not road mapped promotions yet for the season but there is likely going to be on before the end of the season.

After I installed mine I caught myself one day reaching across the tail gate. Placing my drink on the bed mat like I usually do, I had forgetting my tailgate is now smooth. I laughed. Almost spilled my drink anyways.

 

hahaha! That is going to be me after I get this. Except that the dog will then be happy to knock it over.

 

Boom! Installed in my 21 TRD OR DCSB… such nice quality and fit and finish is 9.5 out of 10. Gate closes perfectly.

A wonderful rescue dog, we know her mum looked like a golden retriever, as the litter was “rescued with the mum” … the “Dad”. No idea.

So she is a mutt. But… we love her this far. Easy crate trainer already getting house broke in in the first month.
