If you needed help with the big words, dictionary.com will help you. Don't worry, you don't have the ability to offend me. I was simply correcting you. Since you don't have the ability to listen to those who know more than you, have fun watching your custom-headlight endeavor fail. I'm done wasting time on your childishness. Ignored.

I was referring to you and @The Mad Hatta there is no place for the bickering over a product in a group buy thread. People are either going to buy these or not. It's their decision, don't come to this thread and try to sell your product, you can start your own thread for that.

I'll be looking forward to this. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to figure out but I'd rather someone that is more confident in doing so, do it. Those LED strips in DRL mode would be sick. lol

My lights come in tomorrow according to FedEx, pretty pumped for these. My stock lenses over the last couple months have really started taking a hard beating from the sun so while they're off I'm going to recondition the lenses and if these Spyder lights don't work out for me I guess Ill have to look into retrofit options.

Oh yes you were. See the bold statement in your quote above from Post #248 you just didn't give the exact price to which you didn't even give in Post # 257 when Hawkshot99 asked.

I have no skin in the game. I backed out when I saw the shipping. It doesn't matter anyway this is just the internet. Go ahead and get @Jack0928 thread locked that is what you want to do ultimately.

    Pardon the dirty ride!

Got the tailights and headlights today. Spent some time sealing the seams and fastener holes with rtv and just got back from adjusting them. Initial impressions is that the light output is the same as my stock lights but that's not a bad thing because the stockers imo are really good! However since it is a projector it has a sharp cutoff which looks very nice. Plus imo the overall look of the lights is better than stock. Overall for the price I am very happy so far. Time will tell how they do down the road.

My only gripe so far is the lack of drl mode. Would be neat to have the strips work for that and also I don't remember if it did it on the stock lights but it would be cool if the side marker flashed with the blinkers instead of the inside amber bulb alone.

Got mine yesterday and had the fiance help put them on. I am also kinda upset that I lose the DRL, but I love the way they look. They change the whole truck around. I put mine on during the day and never ended up getting a chance to level them out. I will be completing that tonight.

Nice. That gives me a good idea of what mine will look like with the Demello bumper (similar style to yours) I just bought on their 4th of july sale.

    And never apologize for pictures!

Those do look sweet and it does suck losing the DRL. Just getting back in to fixing up the truck after "hey... we are pregnant" and then "hey... lets buy a house." So now I am like "hey... I am buying stuff for my truck." Sadly, lights will be put on the back burner for a bit. Wheels take the priority as of now.

Do they use the stock headlight bulb P/N if it happens to go out?

I currently do not have a comparison on stock vs spyder, but I will try to get one (No promises though). I will be able to get some night shots later, I have been working long hours.
Side note, it has been storming for 2 days now and there has been no leaks or condensation. Hope this helps clear up any questions.

You did additional sealing with RTV though correct? Or was that someone else?

That was someone else. I checked mine thoroughly and have a bottle of headlight silicone ready to go. If they get moisture, the stocks will go back on until the internals dry and then I can reseal. But otherwise, very good job on a nice constant bead of sealer.

Well what is everyone talking about 'losing DRLs'?! That looks like DRLs to me. If people are talking about the peanut corner lights, that's certainly no reason to not buy, or to return these. Those should be a 10 minute job to rewire to be DRLs if those being off in DRL mode is really an issue.

Thanks for finally clearing that up!

So those bars of light are always on while driving? What is everyone stating about losing DRLs? They look pretty nice!

Those bars are only on if you move the light switch from off (DRL), to the parking light or headlight position. They are not illuminated in the off (DRL) position. Only the DRL lights (turn signal bulbs on the tacoma) are illuminated if you leave the switch in the DRL position.
