    I was obviously lazy the first time I hit the site. I just found this:

    "The Haltec air chucks default closed (they won’t let air out when pressurized). They have 3 lock-on-teeth to lock onto your valve stems (no more air chucks coming loose and leaking air!). The teeth don’t engage until you engage the locking collar, which helps your valve stems and the Haltec teeth last longer. To pull them off, just pull the locking collar away from the valve steam, thus releasing the teeth and the air chuck all in one swift, easy movement."

    These are the easier to use better chucks.
