Kickass setup!! Where did you get the brackets? Including the extensions for the brackets. I am trying to get a double setup like this.

For those who mounted the 40" light bar on the frontrunner rack how did you run the wire to the light bar. Thanks

I was just about to ask the exact same question.

My current idea is to extend the wiring harness and drill a hole through the XM antena. Though, I'd like to read some other options to see if there something better. I prefer not to drill holes in the trucks body if I can help it. The XM antena is something I don't use, and is replaceable should I need to undue the installation.

Anyone get the 40" bar mounted to a Tacoma Frontrunner rack?
I just attempted mine today and it was a complete failure. The rack isn't as wide as the 4Runner rack that Iggy based his mounting off of.

No fault of @Iggy. I wasn't paying attention at the time that he was mounting a a rack made for the 4Runner and didn't realize it was wider.

Did you try flipping the brakets around?

Got pics? I can't imagine it's that much wider.

Looks like about 4" difference, the 4Runner racks are 1255mm (49.4") vs the 1158mm (45.59") on the Tacoma.

Would it work to drill into the main side channels?

I would have to drill into the corner caps.

I think I am going to have a buddy of mine fab up some mounts.

Not tonight. I put everything a way and put the truck back in the garage.

The lightbar itself doesn't even fit between the support rails of the rack.

Its not that big of a deal. I just need to get some mounts fabed up.
