    Not yet. I haven't had time to work on it with the holiday and family obligations and I have other things going on for the next couple of weekends so I won't be able to look at it again for a few weeks.

    I am thinking of making a simple L bracket that attach to the channel in the front frame rail.

    Whatever you find out there, please post it here. I have the 40" bar and slimline too. I haven't fully installed the bar yet but I saw the problem too. I haven't even finish installing the slimline tray.
