well dammit... picked up my bumper last night with a 20" light bar cutout and discovered my 20" Iggy light is about 1/2" too long to fit the mounting tabs. How difficult is it to take apart the bar and trim a 1/4" off each end?

It's really easy. We did this @tacomgee to fit in his Pelfrey bumper.

On the sides where the bolts stick out, there's a plastic end cap around the bolt. Pop that off and you'll see the bolt head in a track with a lip where the cap was in place. Shave this area down with a dremel until it fits, but leave enough material sot the bolt head still holds the light.

You don't need to take the light apart for this, just the end cap.

Ok this is the only pic I could find. I should have taken more when I did Blake's.

    L1010970.jpg

This is the opening you see once you pop the plastic cover off the end the bolts on either side of the light. You can see the mounting bolt in that opening, the stuff around it can be removed so you have a lot play with in there.

We removed a little bit at a time until it fit snug, about 1/8" on each side, but it may be more or less on your bumper if different.

Great, thanks Iggy. I'll have to shave off a little bit more but shouldn't have any problems making the bar fit my bumper.

Ok gents, I posted install instructions on my build page. Hope this helps you all. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I might have forgotten something in the instructions, b/c I did this project several month ago. Read through it, digit it, and ask questions. I'm here to help.

Here is the link to the page the instructions are on, it is post #231

I've got a 20" lightbar, three sets of pods and a set of rock lights. I will be adding a 40" lightbar to my new Prinsu shortly as well. No complaints here. They work great and are nice and bright! Also, @Iggy. customer service is top notch.
