First thing that comes to mind is maybe 3d vs. 4d vs. 5d? Not sure if that effects lumen rating however

@ramonortiz55 Put me down for 1 pair of 40w flood pods. And depending on the answer I may also get a single 40w diffused for my stage lighting needs

If we can't do a single light, anybody reading this in So Cal want to split a set of diffused with me?

It might have been answered, but help me with the types of pods.

I'm guessing Diffused works well for utility, bed lights, not much distance.

Flood, best for offroad lights/ ditch lights.

Driving, would have a cutoff at the top and bottom to better direct light down the road, and not in peoples eyes.

Spot would be for long range/ maybe ditch lights pointed forwards and not at the ditch.

The only thing with splitting sets is the wire harness. I'll figure something out when I get off this cold!

I think the lumen output is a typo, I'll fix it, but it should be double that of a single.

I was able to get 5w CREE chips on all the light bars, where before it the doubles came with 3w chips.

Everything is spot on except for driving. They don't have a cut off and are more of a hybrid between flood and spot. You don't get as much fill as a flood or as much throw as a spot, but you get both.

They come with waterproof DT connectors, I wouldn't suggest cutting those off though

Not sure if this was mentioned but the difference between the 20w and 40w outside of power for the floods will essential create a longer flood path in linear feet in all directions..?
