I'm looking into security bolts. The most basic would be a security torx and key nut. There are other options but more expensive.

I'll look into them, thanks. What about a dab of JB weld? Just maybe smudge some where the bottom of the mount and nut contact each other? I've never used it before but thought that might work..

JB is pretty permanent though. Red locktite might be better.

Tighten up the nut like regular with blue loctite, get a 2nd nut & use red 500* loctite but only thread the bottom nut on until it's flush with the bolt threads. That'll leave you with some empty bolt thread to back off the upper one to adjust them. Or get em where you want em & put a tac weld where the nut touches the bolt.:welder:

Edit: why waste pesos on "security" bolts that the thieves have already shoplifted from CasaDepot?

Edit to the edit: quoted the wrong person, it's my 1st day sorry.

Please educate me on 10w 5w markings. Not sure how this translates? Are the 5w 20watt led and 10w 40w leds?

    Plethora of "useless" shit
That sounds correct. I believe the 3W, 5W, and 10W refer the the individual leds so multiply that by the number of leds in the pod/lightbar.

I accidentally put the 20w on front instead of the 40w. It's an easy swap if you get it wrong

That's the power of the individual diodes. Those pods have 4 diodes, 10 each = 40w. Burn a hole in the night!

Got mine, but now I'm going to fab up some type of behind the grill mounting for the pods.

Received my single row light bar yesterday. Left the beach early today, got home and installed it onto my wife's 4runner! It has fantastic output!

Looks great! Which size did you get? I might have to do the same to the wife's runner.

Not the best photo from my phone, but the fence in the distance is a softball field away from where I parked. The houses behind that were LIT UP, and they're about twice as far. Very happy with the light, and it looks great on the truck.
