    Yeah but do you know how expensive skiing and especially snowmobiling can be? I got a new Klim snowmobile jacket a couple of months ago. That alone set me back $400. LOL

    Reading the specs for the 24F which I have and the 27F, the latter is about an inch and a half longer. So if I have room, I should get the 27F? Thanks for opinions.

    Thanks Oz. I looked at my battery and it looks like I would have to replace the battery plate as the 24F is an exact fit for the existing one. Are they available at parts stores?

    IIRC , the base footprint of those two batteries is the same

    EDIT , just checked the specs , they are not . Not sure if the Tacoma actually has two different battery tray sizes for the 2 bsttery sizes though

    Don't need to be sorry, ME and my friends Abuse and test the living day lights out of our setups in car audio. lets face it, there is nothing more demanding than Car audio on a setup..... that being said, i should define that. A current load of at least 200amps continues. I purchased a yellow top, did ok, didn't give me any issues or anything to complain about.... at that time. Replaced the same yellow top with a Xs power 2700 and my score in Db Drag jumped substantially, my Bass race score was more stable, my winch was smooth with no issues at all.....

    Then there is my friend who had his battery EXPLODE in his face while testing burps..... $ per performance is super low, and frankly for this matter show me real competitors not sponsored by them that does well..... $ per value, you won't find better than the nsb's.....

    See people look at the stats of a battery and i don't blame them. There are so many other factors like internal resistance, the ability to meet a massive current demand ( pulling 500A from your winch on a hard pull whilst your engine is stalled) comes into play..... you won't catch me dead with a optima when there are so many other batteries to choose from
