On a side note, I ordered four locking mounts from "Rotopax" (they claim, and appear to be the manufacturer) on ebay, They were supposed to get here yesterday, I hadn't heard anything from the seller so I messaged them, and they so kindly informed me that they were out of stock and wouldn't be shipping until next week. I was like oh, thanks for the heads up.

I was one of the first to order as well. Picked up a 4 gallon and 2 2 gallon water, mounts, extensions. It will be here Friday. I mainly know because I get notified when Fedex has tracking to my address. If it was not for that I would still be wondering. Did not receive any notice from the vendor. If you have a FedEx account check that or better yet get one setup so it helps you in the future.

Mine showed up earlier today with no shipping notice. I also noticed that one of the mounting plates I ordered was not included in the box. I sent out an email but I'll chalk it up to the vender/Rotopax getting slammed by TW. Just hope they'll make it right.

With all the biz, I would see them making it right. Giving them big business over a few days. Anyone have some good ideas for mounting in the bed of our Tacomas? They did not have the Rotopax Tacoma rail mounts and figured I would just fab some mounts in the manner I have already done but figured see what everyone else is doing if they don't have mounting locations already.

Dang, don't know how I missed this. Was just looking to get one or two. A buddy borrowed one of my cheap cans and decided it was good for oil/gas mix. Dirty sob! lol

Try the Rotopax site. Use TAKE10 for 10% off or if you buy over $250 use TAKE15 for 15% off if you are in CA the deal is actually cheaper than the GB.

The GB is cheaper considering free shipping. But 15% off is still a good deal even with shipping!

When you factor in the group buy added tax (CA Shop) it was cheaper with rotopax (UT) which does not add tax. Tax on my order was $28ish and shipping was only $14 from Rotopax with no tax. Minor difference but still cheaper. Noticed it after I made the purchase. And based on my shipping it ended up being drop shipped directly from Rotopax.

ahh good eye. I'm debating on the 4 gallon or several smaller ones. The shape of the 4gal rotopax seems like it might be awkward to use.

I debated the same thing but couldn't justify spending more on 2 x 2 gallons. I ended up going with 1 4 gallon gas and 2x 2 gallon water which I plan to double up on top of the gas at the top of my bed. In reality 4 gallons is not too heavy anyway.

I have that for UPS, but not for FedEx...

So guess I just might get my order this week then.

I havent gotten a notification about shipping and worried it may get shipped without notification being sent to me.
I'm shipping it to cross border destination (mail box service), hope it hasn't shown up and just sitting there waiting.
