I definitely want mine bare. I am planning to PC, and the PCers prefer bare aluminum, since they have to strip the primer off anyway.

I still can't decide on color. Most people seem to go black, but I have never really liked the look with a Super white Tacoma. I have seen white bumpers that look great, but with PC matching is really hit or miss, so I am thinking about going with a sand color, just to be different. I won't be wheeling the bumper, so touch ups aren't a major consideration.

Just paint it and use rustoleum industrial flat white or gloss. First time it does chip it's gonna spiderweb Crack all.over

I see you have a white hybrid, I am assuming this is what you did? Are you talking about Rustoleum Professional? I also saw in your build thread you did primer, then bedliner, then paint. Any reason for the intermediate bedliner step?

Don't want to interrupt the painting party( I have done my slider and rear bumper with rustoleum bed liner and has held up so far) and will do the front bumper when it gets here.

But I just have to post the new winch I got a Smittybilt X20 10,000lb one, slcsez2000 review(The water proof rating is what really did it) pushed me toward that one, but I will need something to mount it in.:)

While you have it take it apart get all the cheap grease out of it and pack it with fresh Mobil 1 grease.

Depends on the branch. A lot of stores don't even know they can ship. Most cases they call you

Dude let me know how you like that winch once you get everything installed!!! I've had my eye on that one for sometime now haha

Can someone tell me if the control box on the winch fits on the winch inside the bumper (most winches I've found you can have it on the top centered over the line or off to the side) I've also seen ppl rewire it to inside the engine compartment.
