The first couple bumpers made had mounting points for a backing plate but the don't anymore
Idk how he mounted his though. on mine it's a couple bolts welded to the plate I believe

It was a option. I was adding a hi light plate but it became a PITA

I think it would be pretty hard to mount a winch with it there anyway. That plate takes up a lot of room underneath the cradle

Mine has some bolts welded in there too, but they seemed too far apart for the piece of metal I was able to slide in there so I just used some magnets.

Yeah I remember that. I just couldn't figure out how to use them with the size of sheet I could fit. If that makes sense

I bought a big sheet from them and cut it. Just couldn't figure out how to fit a size large enough in there to use the bolts. I squeezed in the largest size and there was still some space before I could reach the bolts

It's my first, I am pretty excited about it, but the nervousness won't be over til I am through closing and don't have to worry any more.

Congrats on the house! We closed on our first back in August. That one has some nice landscaping.

Yeah, the landscaping is nice, and I plan to spruce the back yard up even more. I laugh when I see these commercials where they tell you, "Why would you want a USED home when you, can get a NEW home for the same price." I say mature landscaping is why.

Also congrats to Eddy on the business, looks like things are rocking and rolling for you. If you can be the first to start building some products for the 2016s, you'll have more business than you can shake a stick at. Maybe with the oil business slowing down, there will be some experienced welders heading back home looking for work.
