    Is a slide hammer absolutely necessary to remove the hub? Has anyone able to replace theirs by chiseling in a flat head and then pulling it off? Currently struggling getting mine off..

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    It helps lol
    I just hit my assembly with a dead blow on corners, inboard to outboard direction. After I got a little gap I pried a little on each corner. If I remember correctly, you can’t unbolt it all the way, you must unbold, slide out of knuckle, then unbolt the rest of way.

    Remember guys, if you're getting up there in miles you will probably need these at some point. Don't be a dope like me and wait. Bought my truck knowing only one side had been replaced. Sucks cause I knew better but hoped I had more time.
