    Just a small derail :burp:

Went to get a haircut earlier today, after dropping off that package.

I love seeing some of the stuff I've made out in the real world - this is stuff I made at the first fab shop I worked at.

When a member here mentioned weld nuts, I was already familiar with them but because my boss was a cheap ass, I made my own jig to weld nuts centered on tubing for benches we made.

The light poles only sucked cause I'd have to prop them up and get them as square as I could before welding them :bananadead:

So will this be hidden inside the tubes at the corner of the bed?

The internal component shown here, goes behind the tail light housing.

    20240716_112630.jpg

    20240713_125337.jpg

The large L bracket component shown here, goes on the opposite side as shown here from underneath (in front of the rear tire). The top two holes will be used to mount with the internal component.

    20240716_112148.jpg

    20240713_102334.jpg

The skinny bar shown here, mounts on the other side where my clamp is which acts as a clamp and reinforcement to the L bracket.

    20240716_111641.jpg

Lastly, the exterior bracket shown here (multiple) go in the bed itself to sandwich the internal component that you placed inside the tail light housing.

Some will choose plain (smaller version) while others will choose a tie down option only, or both a tie down and bottle opener option.

805 started its life as honey blonde. Sorry, I live in slo county and hate that shit. There’s also the velvet merkin, another Firestone beer that experienced a name change.

A few months ago, I was in Fresno, a lot, but I really had to be there. I don’t even know how I was there as much as I was seeing as how I work 50+ hours and Fresno is a solid 2 hours away. And now everyone is all going camping out to the mountains, but not me. I’m a little upset that I can’t pop over to Fresno and cling some cans together. Maybe someday I will find a bottle of beer worthy for sharing…. And/or we could come up with some other shit to fab up and use my truck for the prototype.

I'm in the county, but you'll never actually see me living in the city

Yeah the mountains are great, I need to hit them up again as I'm less than an hour away.

Last year I was up in mono hot springs like a week after the pass opened. so much water, lots of snow on the ground in July.
I’m glad you don’t have to live in the city of Fresno. It’s not very attractive.

Badass, never even heard of it before.

We've only been living here for 2 years now...in fact I didn't own any of the shit I own now to make all these parts or anything else.

Lived 11+ years on the coast, so trust me I miss it.

You guys have that light festival in the hills right? Tried attaching a pic but they're all in ARW (raw) format :bananadead:
