I know this is posted in the 3rd Gen section but, assuming it'll be exactly the same for a 2nd Gen?

I know this asking a lot... Would you mind opening a bottle of beer and drinking it for me?

Now that I have your attention, lemme 'ahsplain. I'm not terribly familiar with the type of bottle opener you have in your F-Bombs. I've used a similar type 'hand-held' but this will be mounted vertically to the truck. It seems like it would be likely to spill beer.

It is ENTIRELY possible I am over complicating, but since you have them, all it would take to test is to clamp it in the right orientation and open a beer and this one would be for SCIENCE!

All my beers are canned though...but yeah there's no reason why I can't enjoy one now

Here's a pic of said opener, it's actually one of the first I ever cut out when I first got into cnc

    20240711_131059.jpg

This way you can see the direction of the opener itself

In on this thread too… the look of the initial f-bomb tie down seemed like the T between the fin tie downs had potential as the opener…

    That's a better idea

When I drew it up yesterday, the thought of making the fin area into the tie down had occurred but never the bottle opener portion

Felt like it was wasted opportunity, but it does keep the aesthetic

May have to toy with that end-opener idea before promising anything though

Mainly due to the nature of thick metal + small details

I think it’s doable… look at the guitar in this one… very similar detail…

I just meant the angular was very similar to the tail T, so it may only need to be further out and curved connection to the fin…

Yeah like I said when I posted that drawing, it will need some prototyping, I've never played with a plasma cutter and have no idea how detailed you can get. I tried to model it after some images of similar types I found online but didn't actually have any real dimensions to go on.
