Getting ahead of the workload for this weekend by cutting a few sets out.







Hoping to cut out a few more tomorrow so I can get them bent, welded, and cleaned up this weekend.

Six sets should be going out next week.

 

Bananas…. Mostly Bananas.

 

Got one more spot from either 2nd or 3rd batch to pay to get a set made this weekend.

The following week I plan to knock out another six more as well.

It takes me about 45mins to make each set but I only charge a half hour labor cost. I see this as "I'm working at a respectable rate, without overworking myself".

My last fab job paid very well, but required 12 hour days; sure 4 hours of overtime made for a significant increase in pay but you were there all freaking day!

It isn't hard work, but production work can get tedious. Fortunately, I only make enough sets at a time where it's easy to pace yourself and not feel like it's "work".

Price is up though to $165 after all batch production is up though to make up the consumable cost. They ain't cheap that's for sure!

 

Also an FYI for 2nd and 3rd batches - I still have in stock 5 sets of strap savers for regular tie downs, and 2 sets of strap savers for tie downs with bottle openers.

If interested, shoot @MagicToolbox a PM and post here as well so I can include them with your order.

Otherwise if they don't sell, I'll purchase them myself for future stock.

Just an FYI for everyone out there with bottle openers, although I'm sure you'll know this, bottles will vary from one another across brands.

My Voodoo Rangers never suffered from this, but Sam Adams today did. The lip is rather large underneath the cap so I ended up breaking half of it off
