No welding today, but I did manage to cut another set of 3 and get them all bent today.

I love seeing parts fill up my welding table :D

    20241102_122125.jpg

I have in my inventory 4 remaining sets of strap savers for tie down users.

If you would like a set, do let me know so I can include them with your order! Just inquire with @MagicToolbox for payment and let me know as well so I can set them aside.

We're coming close to the end of our batches, and I have to say due to a few people having gone AWOL, I have removed a few names from the list.

If your name is still there, it's because you replied to a tag in here or a PM so I appreciate those keeping in contact!

Means those that never made it on the list will be able to order soon!

I am happy to announce that after this set of 6 is finished, batches 1-3 will be officially complete!

    20241103_111823.jpg

After which, sales will be available to the public and sets will be made to order.

I would prefer to make a few sets ahead of time to build up inventory, but understand if orders come in sooner than later.

I will change the title and announce when ordering opens up. Unfortunately this won't happen for another week or two due to being out of town.

Keep in mind, I will set a 2 week lead time from time of purchase and will limit up to 6 orders open at any given moment. This ensures lead times do not increase due to a large number of orders coming in.

For those watching, just reiterating the information from the last update.

    Batches are done!

A big thank you from All of you, not just for supporting what I do, but offering suggestions to better the product itself which in turn benefits everyone.

Need to grab some supplies, and will be shipping all the ready made sets between tomorrow and the day after.

I'll be gone this weekend and busy into the next so all sets will ship out before this weekend.

I also want to state that ordering will officially open on the 19th!

Maximum of 6 orders open at any time, and will set a 2 week lead time per set.

I have updated the first post to reflect this.

Thank you all again, and hope to see more install pics posted here!

So… I had run black silicone in these areas, sealing up leak points when I installed my shell and sealed my tailgate. Can anyone elaborate on how critical this measurement is, or can reference a number from the poly bed bottom itself? The referenced green/red areas seem to be in the crack/groove outboard from the actual bed floor. Am I over-thinking this?

Best way would be if someone can place a ruler in one spot, and measure upwards and place a mark for 12", or 6", or whatever the length of the ruler is.

Ideally two marks at known distances.

Take the same ruler, and place it on the other spot, and physically measure the first two marks.

Whatever that difference is, will be what you need to adjust for. Whoever can do this for you just needs to be accurate in their measurement.

Placement of the first two holes is key for setting everything else up. I placed about 1/8" of additional play in the internal bracket (to aid installation with the use of slots) as well as making bolt holes 3/10" larger.

If you have a Bobby pin or a thick needle and thread you can poke it thru the silicone and paint pen/ sharpie where it lands on the surface.
That is one way to get the offset distance.

I’ve already approximated the distance, using a sharp-pointed bamboo skewer. The offset seems larger than I would have guessed, leaving me unsure. Someone else confirming that difference would be ideal, before I drill.

Probably too late to this, but I'm still interested. If need be, I'll happily pay full

    Unfortunately yes.

But if you can be patient, I'll include your set once I begin production again in two weeks!

No need to place your order now, but you and one other will be part of those few sets I'll start on.

    Hope this is fair!

Totally. Mine came today as well, the box was spent. Glad that’s a one time use.. everything when I inspected it was top notch though. I’m impressed. My truck was undercoated so I have to clean that shit off where these will go which is my time suck

If parts are ever missing or if for any reason something was off, I hope no one hesitates in reaching out to me.

Though I will say, I do match things up with my master set so all parts are good to go when they leave.
