there's not much to making skids work with the lca mounts. i dunno if JD would get into it because there's sooo many on the market. I'm putting a rear skid on and JD did the same front on the caged silver Tacoma (pelfry alum) and came out awesome. Gained a metric ton of clearance.

Yeah, I just noticed that on the site now. Pics were from said Tacoma. I have been thinking of swapping out my current skids to 3/16th from 1/4 to save some weight so it's good timing.

The front add-on looks super clean, glad to see that. If i could reuse my current rear 2 skids for the timing that would-be killer. Minor fab but in theory doesn't seem to bad.

I did not see the steering setup on the site anymore. Does he still make it? Has me going back to considering the axles too. Just picked up some TC axles but when all said and done may just be better to get the 934's.

I would expect a reoccurrence sooner than later. They're booked up for 2+mo right now. Patience and when it's available, buy! ... don't wait or you'll miss out.

Got you added! So the steering is not on the site, you have to contact JD and Harry directly for that one. It will likely never be on the site for liability reasons. The quickener makes the steering for a DD extremely sensitive.

They make a different solution that may or may not be better based on use, driver, and truck. One size doesn't fit all. When you are stuffing a 35" tire into a 40" undercut a tundy rack with a hydro assist is a better solution. There are caveats and pros and cons to both. The JD fab is a very good solution and well worth the investment.

Man, I hope you make this for the 3rd gennera at some point. It would be awesome to run 33's or 34s without all the extra mods.

You can run it on the 3rd gens only difference is the lca bolts that are sent out to you.
