This GB main product is the LCA pivot kit. Yep stock UCAs and using the truck for non DD and lifting the UCAs need replaced the LCA pivots and them together really make a nice combo.

Trying to sell my wife on the idea of the lower pivot. I need new cam tabs and cam bolts anyway regardless........ I know discounts can’t be revealed but it will be easier to convince her of my sales pitch if I can give her ballpark.

I haven’t seen any GB’s from JD fab in the past but does anyone have any guesstimate on discount %...? If the price is right im in for LCA pivot.

The only other one was during the product launch last year. It's a decent amount off.

it's well worth the money without the group buy, now's the opportunity to get a even better deal.

right, I’m tracking that. Most of the aftermarket out there is well worth the money, but “well worth the money” isn’t always passable when you’re trying to convince a counterpart.

I'll lay it out for you.
The LCA pivots, especially if combined with UCA whether you get now or later, seems to improve suspension geometry especially caster in terms of shifting the wheel forward so that you can clear the back of the fender area better, and possibly fit up to 35's in that configuration.
Some popular choices are 31, 33, and 35" tires.
31's (such as 265 70 17) for many vehicles is a stock size.
It also, at least on a lifted Tacoma (which every Tacoma should be) looks very goofy. Like baby tires.
LCA Pivot Kit seems like a way to ensure that such things (bigger tires) go smooth without a hitch. It should contribute to:
    -not hitting the fender well
-being able to achieve better alignment
-stronger parts more resistant to wheeling knocking it out of alignment.
And for anyone who that does not matter to; yes, you should be wheeling. That is what Tacoma's are for. Reaching beautiful places that other vehicles will not. Getting away from everybody else to the cool stuff. Not the fast food line with 100 cars, but the epic scenery without those 100 cars. I could go on.

The LCA mounts (stock) on these trucks or any similar model, are a known weak point. The tabs can bend. So can the metal they mount to.
Some fixes are cheap. Some are preventative. All require a welder.
TC cam tabs. Marlin LCA gussets. Custom fabbing your own metal. And so on.
Key with the first ones is you weld them on before you go wheeling, when the truck has 5 miles. Which nobody does.
In real life, you learn the hard way by experience. You do something that messes them up, to the point where now those parts won't even fit properly.
That is where LCA pivot kit comes on. It doesn't need to fit over those. Those get cut off. The kit gets welded on.
And it is probably thicker and strong parts than stock.

If you're going to bolt on nice parts one day (King shocks, you name it), why not bolt it to something nice.
It's pretty ugly to see when trucks get that kind of stuff, but nothing else. People will literally have shocks like that bolted to an otherwise stock truck. Almost like it's a pretend pic for Instagram that doesn't actually get used in real life to wheel.
It's like bolting a robotic arm from Iron Man to a lethargic 97 year old passed out in a wheelchair.
It is a structural part that is to bystanders not well seen. It means you actually improved the truck to improve the truck. Not slapped cheap shit bright neon orange parts all over the side of the bed to show off trying to make it look cool.

One mod at a time. Hopefully ones you can't go wrong with.
I too, would not mind doing more shit eventually, if budget allows. Upgraded P/S pump. Stronger P/S rack. And so on. I like the truck. I think it's worth keeping. If something sucks and is not worth keeping, then no, mods are not worth it. But people still do that too (stance scene)

It requires welding. Awesome. Million reasons to get a welder. I've always wanted to. Many other mods for the truck require welding. It's the sign of a worthy vehicle. Worthy vehicle?: "You need to weld this on to climb rocks better".
Not worthy vehicle? "Nobody has welded this aluminum car, but here. Bolt on this fart can"

Once I saw a pic of a Taco with LCA pivots. I thought to myself, "Wow, this guy built his shit. He actually knew what he was doing. Thing looks built" - as opposed to other trucks without it, that do not look built.
At this price point, it's probably a good thing to have a knowledgeable experienced fabricator who invented the thing to buy and install, offering aftermarket support and attention to keep the platform alive
as opposed to having to make it all yourself from scratch
kind of like fart can cars. Got an actually cool idea for one of them? Good luck you're on your own. Gotta invent it yourself. Only thing ever done on them and available is fart cans.

I am not trying to sell you on anything. I don't sell them. I don't fabricate them.
In fact there may be even more information on the pivots that I myself am currently unaware of.

Your location says Sierra Vista. Which is probably flat. Will you go to Moab. Will you climb Imogene Pass and see the sights. Is your frame rust-free enough (probably, AZ) to make it worth welding to. A lot of things for you to think about to factor in the decision.

Another thing to think about. If you had a German car like many people do, you'd be spending more than this money. More often. Thousands. Many times. Not to improve a car. But to keep it on the road. Things like transmission stuff. Oil leaks. Water pump. Timing belt. Suspension. Engine problems. And so on

prepare your truck for zombie apocalypse

This is the way I put it. If you are going to do anything to the front end. Address the weak foundation that the factory provided. Then build on that well thought out durable foundation that JDFab has created. From there you can use most others products but why would you. JD Fab is providing us with there great options not because they are a big corporate MFG but because they love what they do. Most might not want me to say this but I know you agree. Without a group buy there products are still a better value than the other choices.

on top of that, the only option, if regarding LCA pivots, given no other company makes a comparable product
as opposed to UCA's with multiple companies/products to decide between
