All right guys the group buy promo code is live. I will PM everyone on the list for the LCA kits now. The code is only valid for one week so make sure to place your order ASAP!

There is also a section for notes so please specify steel, aluminum or no skid option and 2wd or 4wd.

    Thanks guys!

It should work if not just include notes for no skid and we will refund you $80 ASAP

Just paid, I added in the notes my situation with the 5/8” or custom bushings.

I only read the PM before paying and didn’t add in the note that I’m 4x4 and Aluminum.

So will we get money back if we aren't getting a skid, how does that work?

Yes, just use the promo code from the group buy, include no skid in the notes, pay the total amount and I will refund you the skid right away

Good deal. For the shopify stuff get JD to add options to the item like the different skid materials and an option for local pickup that will bypass the code situation. We did that and it makes life so much easier than refunding or sending an invoice. It's a PITA sometimes dealing with online retail webpage stuff.

Three more spots to fill until the CV axle order happens. Who wants a 4WD upgrade?

Can the shafts be made to fit a +3.5 length?

I can't leave anything well enough alone
So on the axle thing, it clearly improves the strength and operation angles of the tripod joint, and the axle itself. Can the outer OEM CV survive larger angles than stock-ish extended travel suspensions give now? Seems that one has to flex even more because of steering while flexed, like flex in x (suspension) and y (steering) instead of x only. And if it is flexed more in x, same in y, but isn't any stronger is it a potentially increased point of failure?

To be clear, I haven't broken an axle yet, hope to never break one. But heard that even in OEM configuration and angles, it is often the outer joint that fails. Any truth to this? Any thought on giving the 300m parts a whirl in the outer CV similar to what is going on with the inner?

On another note, I am eagerly awaiting more pics of the steering setup, hoping you can give some additional teaser shots of that also, particularly with the new boots required on the rack itself as well as how the tie rod arrangement works with the angles compared to OEM.
