If my single battery will keep my beer cold and power my winch, why would I need a second? My truck already weighs enough.

I’m guessing I will lose the space my dual compressor is currently living in next to the power steering pump, and the battery void currently has the collector for all the power cables and my winch solenoid, so hopefully that space can house all three.

Are you going with the UMP filter?? If not, Why can’t your compressor stay in the space?? If you eliminate the windshield washer tank it can still live there. Hell with a little dreaming and fab work you may be able to keep both there. I know on Kasnerds they moved the air pump to the frame to make room also.

I’ll have to search and read more about the UMP filter, I have no idea what you are talking about.

I’ve got a 15 with the secondary air pump just forward of the passenger side firewall. I have the compressor on the Slee mount which is tucked in next to the windshield washer tank, having done zero research I’m thinking the space it currently occupies my turn into the fender. I definitely need to sit down and read through the thread.

But hopefully my stupid questions will answer other people’s stupid questions.

    .
I’ve got the air pump also. Just drilled and bolted it to the new fender no bracket needed. You can make it all work with a little fab work. It’s not hard. Hell I dont even have a core support to mount the front of the inner fenders to but I made it work and it held together while I thrashed on it over the weekend.
These fenders are worth every penny. You can make it work with your accessories easily. There is a link to my install on the front page. I was the first one to do it outside of JDFabs shop. The hardest part is cutting your old shit out.

So the UMP is a cyclonic filter set up. Think the big filter things on the side of some big rigs. Upside is they filter really well and separate big particulate matter, downside is it doesn't flow as well as your stock intake or a CAI so you want to go with the biggest one possible for air volume.

You'll probably be able to adapt that slee bracket to work on the inner fenders and then it's easy enough to get a washer fld tank that's smaller to fit.

How about both. What's your budget on the dual case? I might could make you a deal on my set up and you could still get this.

I kinda have to disagree with you on the not flowing as well. I ran the truck on our scanner both before and after doing the UMP. According to what the MAF was saying, flow went up ever so slightly. But even if they decreased flow, it’s still very much worth it. They do amazing work.

I know what you said. I was just saying. I’m a huge advocate for them and was more or less backing what you said. Every truck that goes in the dirt should have one. No need to be defensive. Wasn’t trying to step on toes.

I haven't even installed it yet, I'm looking hardcore at the NWF especially since they may come out with an adapter that puts the 4:1 NP241 behind it. BTW I'd trust NWF stuff they are prolific with the doublers with the 203/205s, D300s, etc. Our local 4x4 forum pretty much everyone is running their doublers.

Got a wrangler that has loads of NWF parts on it and I concur. Wouldn’t have a single worry about buying something new from them. They build some nice stuff!

    Just gussets... everywhere
currently in the same debacle. Do I install my fj case or wait and do the NWF altogether. Also…converting to a speed sensor off the np241 may not be doable like with the fj case.

Id imagine you could get a Dakota Digital adapter/converter to take care of that.

But for my money I’m going black box/205 instead of a 241

I'm loosing my rear sensors anyways and it's been done with the older taco tcases you use a converter.
