Just picking up. That's not waiting too long is it? I saw the post about potential damage etc, I'll come sooner if possible.

    No, it should be fine.

We have had people leave stuff here for months which is not ok.

I can meet you down here at any time if it is just a pick up. Just let me know what time.

    One wing + one prayer.

JK. ACETONE, rags and patience. Prep is key, so wipe these things down over and over and over in every little crevice until your rags are clean.

Sounds like some tunes and beverages of choice will accommodate this process well

I hear ya. I just 'informed" my wife about my Mobtown purchase recently- knowing I'd have to pick up the pallet any day. So, my pallet of armor arrives at the shipper yesterday and I run out to get it after work. I come home, back the Tacoma into the driveway, and there's a YYUUGGGEEE pallet/box sticking out the end of it. I walk inside and my wife gives me a look, say's 'Holy Shit!', rolls her eyes, and then walks away. Sounds like we're good.

"It's always better to ask for forgiveness then to beg for permission." :D

^^^ This is freakin' brilliant! I'm gonna use it. Thanks.

Nothing shipping today unfortunately. The trucking company called me and said they can't come today either. Trust me on this, I am as pissed off as you guys are because I do not have the room for all the stuff to be sitting for three days. My entire shop it's filled with sliders on pallets.

I would say I'm not mad, because my sliders aren't in the pile. Then I get to thinking, if you guys don't have room then you can't get started on mine.

No. They're literally all still sitting. They never showed up yesterday. Supposed to come today. Called and said they can't come until tomorrow. Apparently the problem is they have one truck to service all the companies in my area and I have a full truck load of orders to pick up.

The shop isn't big enough to deal with that kind of storage. It's very frustrating to work in a cramped environment.

Very. We have two bays. Both are full wall to door with pallets.
