Is the transfer skid a stand alone?

Sounds good. I'll shoot over all the info to mobtown tomorrow and see what we can do.

My bad, I'm tired from a long drive in a snow storm today.

I just reread the OP and saw that the transfer skid needs the front two as well. I was looking for a stand alone transfer case skid plate that bolts up independently of the others.

I mean, it can. Do you already have a front and transmission skid. Only thing I'd be concerned about is stock bolts in the transmission cross member and I'd need a pic of what you currently have. Might work...

I'm not at home and my truck is parked in a foot of snow in my buddies driveway. I'll get back to you on this once I'm back home on Sunday/Monday.

    Good night!

I have the previous generation full set and I really like them. I've bashed the hell out of them and they've held up pretty damn good. That being said, this version has the few things I wished the previous generation had > reinforcement, bolts on inside, etc. These look great!

@Mobtown Offroad: what is the weight of the full set of steel vs aluminum? Each individually?

The first gen doesn't have exposed bolts on the belly but you're correct in regards to reinforcements.

These are approx. I haven't weighed the new design yet but it'll be close to that.

Oh, yeah. I didn't really consider them exposed. They're somewhat tucked up in the bend. I've seen other skids out there where there are bolt heads all over the flat belly portion. Doesn't take much to shear the head when dragging on a rock.

True, they are not really exposed and all the grinding I've done underneath, there's no damage to those bolts.

Good luck with the group buy! These skids are fantastic and the quality and craftsmanship are top notch! People should be jumping all over this.
