@fergsonfire You're overblowing it. I was just playing around and the work is solid.

Pic 1 - welds were just fine, but the extra weld appeared to be from a "measure once, cut twice" on a support beam :p - these things happen and has no structural impact AFAIK.

Pic 2 - was the backside of an otherwise solid weld from the weld punching through. Front of the weld looks just fine and is solid.

I'm happy with the work and @Mobtown Offroad has been responsive to my questions and a great vendor.

Steel didn't make it out. :(

They'll ship Tuesday. I ran into a few issues but I'll be working tomorrow to get the welding done. Then spend allllllll day Monday boxing orders for pickup on Tuesday. Aluminum will ship by Thursday/Friday. Will weld them all Tuesday, box Wednesday.

Reminds me of a recent story. I went to KFC for a $5 delicious fill up box. I get to work to eat and I open it up to find there was only gravy in my mashed potatoes and gravy cup. I was pissed. But a few days later I went back and they gave me my mashed potatoes and gravy. Moral is I thought I was getting my skid plates mid march but ended up being 3/4 march. I'm happy with the result!

Well, finally installed the skid. Have to get a lift, it wasn't fun trying to squeeze my fat ass underneath the truck. Took about an hour with just me installing it.

Some instructions would've been nice but I figured it with the help of some coffee and fudge stripe cookies.

Instructions are on the website. We don't ship them with products in an attempt to save trees.

Very sorry for the delays on batch 2. The laser house that we use to cut and form all our parts totally screwed the pooch in this order. They forgot to send me all sorts of vital pieces to weld them. Got all the pieces I was missing at 2pm yesterday. So I've been working today to get them done and out early this coming week and the ones with powder over to them for coating.

Yeah I found them when I was having my coffee and fudge stripe cookies. I kept putting that b1tch up and wondering why it wouldn't fit in place. Then I downloaded the instructions and removed the factory support bars and then it fit like a glove. The hardest part was wiggling my fat ass underneath the truck to put the bolts back in.:frusty:

By the way, great product. Everything appears to be top notch, and some sexy welds on the reinforced areas.:welder:

    Yes,
Keep up the fine work! I'm sure I can speak for most by saying, "I'd rather wait longer for a quality skid, rather than a receive a skid not built correctly"

    I know. :(

    I'll pack my things.

As for the 73 sets of sliders, 52 sets of skid plates, 8 recovery bars and 9 bumpers, you're all on your own!
