Shoot from the hip opinion speculation having much less drive pulley weight even with the same specs should make butt dyno feel like you dropped a size. I think some math may help but I'm only good at geometry.

 

The .1 increase isn’t even that much guys. Like .05 pulley size smaller. Pretty insignificant really.

 

But if we cut the weight in half along with great balance it reduces stress on all parts, and that alone is a great compliment to the whole system.

 

I totally agree, I just think it’s silly people are gonna bone out because its not a larger pulley which will require way more work than slapping a smaller upper pulley on.

 

But I understand their initial response. But the GOAL is less parasitic loss due to cheap manufacturing weight choices. The biggest gain is having fewer grams of mass spinning sapping power we ALL make already. It's still a win.

Really power gains are possible not in boost because a pulley weight are less. Better mileage while not in boost is there.

 

It's like running lighter wheels. Gains everywhere based on physics.

 

My main concern was to have the boost gain of that of a 2.7 and with the added benefit of keeping my stock size belt. I understand the lower weight gain but that alone isn’t worth it to me......

 

I understand your reason of conservative gain brother. But this will free up power out of boost too. This is a bigger win than you might think. You can keep your current setup and still feel gains.

 

My point is, in stead of going to a 2.7 from a 2.85 it's like going to a 2.8, so really it's not the full gain that a 2.7 would provide. You will eventually have a 2.7 on your truck, mark my words Gotta pump those boost levels up!

 

Its gaining in boost and non boosted driving applications. Winning!

There have been some developments to the GB and I want to make sure you guys are updated. Please reconfirm you guys still want in the GB for an OE sized unit.
