Lol. I don't even the logistics behind what that would entail to be honest. A membership fee for access to a one stop shop which provides everything we would need wouldnt be a bad move though. It would in a way be support for all the research done with this over the past two years or so really.

Well here is what I got. The fitment bolt pattern is INCREDIBLY close... The Tundra one SHOULD work, however I am uncertain the pattern is an even triangle design. If we have a shorty version which can mount whatever way we want then theoretically speaking we could mount it facing outward the other way and we could use the current lower hose we have with some small tweaking. Pictures below of differences between Tundra and OE pattern.

One thing is for sure. It IS shorter than the OE Tacoma flavor.

As someone that has had a belt chew through the thermostat housing, im not sure swapping to a tundra one will yield you any more clearance in the direction you need it..

Below is a pic of where your belt is going to make contact

Yeah the Tundra one may not be more favorable over the OE offering. There is another option potentially which may or may not be able to work and that is a housing off of the Sienna. I was looking at that one and it seemed like it could potentially work. I'll have to keep searching but at least we know other options which may not require modification to fit to our trucks do exist and that in itself is a win.

I agree, the fact that there are others out there taht will bolt right up makes this much easier. Just gotta track down the right one. Any idea what the pricing might be on this crank pulley? and how much lighter than the stock S/C crank pulley are yall planning on making them?

No idea yet on the pricing... However, we need one more to complete what would be a group buy. Also, I have plans on having whoever makes the pulleys for us redesigning them entirely to a design similar to that of a 5 spoke wheel, or one that has multiple circular holes cut out in them. Similar to the method rims that are so popular for our cars for maximum weight reduction. The item would be billet, of course so they would be plenty strong.

I have tracked down two more possibilities. We would have to buy them from down under Aussie however, but a Hilux design would route the hose to an angle and then straight down, or just straight down. I don't know if it would be exactly what we need though.

But we should pursue 6 rib aggressively. That way when Whipple’s come into the picture its a higher chance of keeping it

I want a 6 rib pulley setup as much as you do, however, that may or may not be a feasible thing. If someone had access to a 3D printer with incredibly strong and temperature resistant material at their disposal then we could design our own OE style with a small outward curve built into it design which would allow us to keep our OE hose, and allow enough spacing to run an additional rib in our belt setup.

The Whipple design is sort of a pipe dream for the time being. We need serious CAD and measuring tech to be able to even get started on that.

Absolutely. As long as it is aluminum there is no reason as to why we can't make that happen.

I'd like to find a plastic one we all agree on working then have them made out of aluminum. Just incase the belt decides not to play nice.
