    Whats the deal with the lip/ no lip situation? Is it going to make a difference in mounting the pulley or the way it runs the serpentine belt on there?

    Did you need to sand down the inner hub of the crank pulley for it to fit right? @12TRDTacoma

    Also got an emailed with NST about making a PS pulley GB. They might be down if we all send in a core spline. Part number 44303A from Toyota looks like one piece that is the pulley and spline. NST made these pulleys before but stopped cause of people not sending back their stock cores to keep it going. Curious where we could find just the splines so NST could press them in and send as one unit. From the diagram they should just screw in to the pump from the spline.

    I did not. It was a direct fit.

    If it was a simple bolt up spline fit, why did NST need it in the first place if they were making billet replacements of those anyways?

    Red is "tow package" blue is standard next to factory tow package pulley. Clearly the blue standard one is "best" choice. Factory one is pressed on. I installed the blue one which sides on without pressing but it has a big nut on it so I gave it as few uggas uggas with the impact and I don't believe it's going to slip. Also both nst pullies are a touch smaller diameter.

    To me- Looks like the tow package trucks should order the non tow package pulley.

    TRD Supercharged / OTT Tuned
    For what its worth..... i ordered the 3pc NST pulley set years ago when they were having supply/delivery/communication problems..

    I was happy to have received my order in the end....and i didnt have issues with the ALT pulley that they provided by default. I dont recall whether it had the ridge/lip or not. I hope my photos can help.

    My truck is an '08 OR with the tow package. Alternator is stock/factory and shares the same p/n as one shown a few posts earlier. The supplied NST alt pulley works fine for me.

    Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
    So flat back will NOT fit Tacomas with a 130w Tow Package alternator. I guess I will send an email tonight to see if they are going to make it right.
