wow, I am considering one of these, can I please be added to the list. I will wait till closer to the end of the month, need to keep spending down till I get my truck, build is supposed to be the 29th.

Can any one tell me how it attaches to the front of the bed, velcro? How dusty does it get inside? I love the ability to drop it down, and still have the use of the bed, how does it handle highway speeds? basically, I will be going from a hard cap to a soft shell, will I regret it?

I myself have had a hard shell and I'm ordering my softtopper today. I actually wasn't a fan of my hard shell at all so I sold it but that was also on my 1st gen. I'm so freaking excited to get the new soft topper I can't wait

I loved my hard shell, only had it on my 09 since last spring. Made packing the truck for camping so much better, the only thing I was planning to change is putting in the headliner, as the fiberglass ripped a couple of dry bags. But I have a buddy who had to get rid of his 16 and now has racks and tonneau cover just waiting for me to pick up. So my plans now have options.

I love my softopper. Sleep under it on my lunch breaks in 80 degree weather with the sides rolled up nearly every day. As long as you have a breeze you are good. Plenty of airflow. Keeps eyes off my stuff too

Attaching to the front of the bed is usually velcro. If you have a spray in bediner you will need to drill three 1/8th inch holes and insert snap screws, think sheet metal screw with button snap for a head. For what it's worth, I haven't used either option yet and am just letting sit. I have had 0 issues so far. They give you all the velcro and hardware so you will be covered regardless.

Only done some light offroading, but so far the bed is nice and clean.

Done about 25 hwy miles since I put mine on yesterday and so far so good. Nothing broke free nor was there any excessive flapping. Everything was nice and tight.

Never owned a hardshell, but the only trade offs in my eyes is the extra security a hardshell provides as well as being able to handle a roof rack. Neither was a deal breaker for me, so I went for it and couldn't be happier.

the racks I am getting, from what I understand are designed to be used with or with out a cap, so I figure they will work with this. I am also getting factory racks on the cab, although I am sure those will need some reinforcing.

Guys, you have twelve days left to get in on this group buy! I will be traveling the second half of this week and all of next week with very limited access to internet so if you haven't added your name to the list and placed an order, then now is the time to do it. I'll be online through Wednesday the 21st so make sure you are added by then.

Who owns a charcoal one? i want to see it next to black. They look very similiar except charcoal just looks like faded black.

    Just getting started
I just ordered my new soft topper. This will be my first soft. I just about pulled the trigger on a hard topper but had a hard time spending the 1900.00. Just called and ten min later a tracking number popped up. Thanks for the time in the group buy!
