    *** CLOSED ***

WILL CONTINUE GROUP BUY IN THE SPRING

    **Group Buy Feeler**

Hello TW! I am considering running a group sale on my new onboard pressurized water system for the 2005-2017 Tacoma.

    Product details here:

    www.tacomaworld.com/threads/new-onboard-pressurized-water-system-for-the-2005-2017-toyota-tacoma.453005/

The discount would be as follow:
    Regular Price = $200
    15 buyers get 10% off ($180)
    25 buyers get 20% off ($160)

Shipping remains a flat rate priority delivery for $10 to anywhere in the 50 states. That is 1-3 day delivery including HI and AK.

Group buy would be capped at 30 units.

The first 15 units would ship as soon as the group buy starts, the rest would have a 3-5 week turnaround time since I would need to build more kits and have to reorder all the parts.

This is a feeler only. Pricing and quantities subject to change based on interest. This would be the last sale of the year and once sold out, will likely be the last batch of kits I make.

If this goes live, I would require a $50 deposit from anyone in the 15+ batch who has to wait 3 to 5 weeks. This is secure your place in the GB.

Please copy paste the list and add yourself to sign up.

Hey there I have a question looked like your pump was lacking pressure when I watched the demo video is it even rewatching 50psi pressure? Ultimately this system leaves me concerned based on the need for power and I have been around pumps long enough to know how they do all eventually fail.

This pump only supplies 1.2 GPM @35 PSI. its not meant to be a garden hose, but i purposely went with a small pump in an effort to conserve water. Typically while camping, out on the trail, or really anywhere that this might be useful, youll likely have limited water supply, so going with something small and low pressure gives you just what you need to get the job done while preserving your water supply. in regards to the pump failing... This same pump is used on RVs, boats, and other applications every day. will it eventually fail? sure. everything eventually fails. Its lifespan will also be decreased with improper care and lack of maintenance, but i think that applies to just about every mechanical thing that exists. This pump is backed by a 4 year warranty which is pretty outstanding. If after that time the pump fails you, a direct replacement can be purchased for $30 online or any RV or Boat store and the rest of the system will still be good. You also mentioned your concern for it needing power... the good news is that since this is only a way for you deliver your water, but in the event of something catastrophic where you may become stranded or even just out camping and you have a pump failure or loss of power, your water source is still completely accessible and unrestricted, you just wont have a way to pressurize it, which isnt necessary. Compare that too something like the water port, which is also currently on GB. if the Valve breaks in that, or there is a small crack or failure in the design, your only water source is now trapped inside and unaccesable to you, which id bad news. and you are also limited to only 3.3 gallons that their system holds. I do understand many people would prefer not to deal with wiring, but, after much research, i decided that i would rather have
    A. any water source i ever wanted
    B. no limitations to my water supply
    C. unlimited pressure without worrying about using hand pumps to repressurize
    D. full access to my water in the even of failure.
Other self contained systems without power require you to carry a large permanently mounted tank that get pressure from a garden hose, which will almost Never be available to you while out in the backcountry or camping, or require an air compressor or bicycle pump to make functional should you have to refill or even lose pressure on your original 3.3 gallons. I always welcome people to express their concerns because i put a lot of time and thought into designing this to eleviate just about every comcern possible. if anyone finds something that i dont have an answer or explanation for, then i will quickly learn what changes should be made to improve the product design. Please let me know if you have other concerns i can address for you.

You mentioned something about a way to heat the water can you elaborate more? Maybe with specific cost or install procedure?

Another question sorry to be a bit of a burden by how is it attaching to the water supply. Just drop the clean water supply in to an opening and turn the pump on?
