You want me to contact Partner Steel, or do you think it'll be fine?

Just let me know what you want to do. It may be best if you contacted them since you're the receiver. I can relay the message, but there really isn't anything that I can do since I'm just the middle man. You may want to file a UPS claim just to get the ball rolling.

Got mine after work. No dents, dings, or scrapes. I can't wait to put it to use!

It's one thing if you bought it and YOU put the dent(s) in it... it's another when you buy it and someone else put the dents in it. I'm in the same boat and would talk with the vendor about it. Hell, even large companies have "scratch and dent" sales with a reduced price even though the item will work perfectly well with the dents or scratches. See what Partner Steel says.

Yeah gonna shoot em a message tomorrow. After further inspection.. I noticed two corresponding indentations on the box.. So this either happened during shipping... Or before. Possibly a bad stocking job or accidental drop, etc.

So I've got a question for the people that have bought these stoves both presently, and in the past. Do you see a need for a Group Buy on a 6 lb aluminum tank that can be refilled? I'm kind of on the fences about it, but I want some input. Using the small 1 lb tanks if fine, but I like the idea of being able to have a small refillable tank rather than disposing of the 1 lb tanks. I'm leaning towards starting something for these. Just need to know if this is something that is worth me pursuing.

Ugh... :goingcrazy: I think I might just accept the dings as character and keep my stove. I havent even had time to try and contact Partner Steel.. not to mention.. I dont know if I want to wait for another one to come in. the dings really arent THAT bad.. but when you spend this much for a nice shiny, beautifully crafted, piece of equipment.. its kind of a bummer to open it and see that.. especially since its shiny hand crafted Aluminum!! my favorite!!

    what would ya'll do?
