You can use a 5lb tank with how the stove comes in the box. If you want to use the smaller 1lb tanks you can buy an adapter at Lowes.

Cool. I was looking at one of the fancy 6lb aluminum tanks. Just not sure about laying out the premium over a steel one.

Do you have link? I've been looking at getting one of the composite propane tanks.

The only downfall I see to getting an aluminum tank or a composite tank is having them inspected. I know you need to get tanks inspected every so often, and not every place fills them. Might be easier to just stick with the traditional tanks.

I can make that happen. I'll need to talk with Partner Steel about flat rate shipping costs again first though. I would also need need to get somewhere around 20 people in on this GB to make it happen.

I'll have an answer on this today. I'm only waiting to hear what the shipping would be, and then I can post a new GB.

Here's the links to the new GB. Same pricing as before, and same shipping costs. I've added a couple more items that seemed to sell last time.

So I've got a question for the people that have bought these stoves both presently, and in the past. Do you see a need for a Group Buy on a 6 lb aluminum tank that can be refilled? I'm kind of on the fences about it, but I want some input. Using the small 1 lb tanks if fine, but I like the idea of being able to have a small refillable tank rather than disposing of the 1 lb tanks. I'm leaning towards starting something for these. Just need to know if this is something that is worth me pursuing.

I bought one of the aluminum 6# tanks. A group buy for it would of been nice. The dang thing was not cheap. The tank packs easy and is about the size of three of the one pound tanks. The only warning I have about it is it needs to be run upright. You can transport it on its side, but it needs to be upright to prevent liquid propane from hitting your regulator and stove.
