I installed mine yesterday. I got lucky, my 2012 SR5 base model 4x4 was plug and play for the turn-signals. Only took me 20 minutes to swap that out. But to wire the heating part took us 3 hours because of dismantling the dashboard to route the new wires. My truck looks even more badass now. Thanks Rob. Also Thanks to Ben, the OP of the how to wire your truck heated mirrors. Since he lives locally, I gave him a call and he came out to help me wire them up.

Man are you lucky. :) Yeah Ben sounds like he's a real great guy. I messaged him when I 1st started doing this to make sure he was OK with us referencing his thread. Glad to hear you got it all working. How about some pictures?

I bought mine through the first group buy and don't regret a thing. They don't shake, vibrate and provide excellent vision when towing my float/tractor or dump trailer.

Rear depth perception is somewhat lacking on these mirrors, but my back up cam takes care of that.

I order my set of the ProEFX mirrors last week and they arrived on Tuesday. Installed them on my 2015 TRD 4x4 Thursday. Everything went great and just as the instructions stated. Truly Plug and Play, about 2 hours total time. I ran the heater wires into the cab, but have not completed the connections. Since I live in Arizona, not sure I will need the heat option. The visibility was greatly improved. Can way to get the trailer hookup. The black looks great.
    Thanks Rob.

Really interested in a set of these mirrors, but have a couple of questions. I have a 2013 TRD Off-road. Anything odd about this year/model that these wouldn't work? Also, has anyone taken a measurement as to how much farther they stick out beyond the stock mirror when not in the tow position? My garage is kind of tight and I worry about how much room I will have.

    Thanks,

    John

Had to dig, but found the answer; the question seemed familiar to me. I fold my driver's side mirror in when I put the truck in the garage.

Received and installed mine last night (purchased outside the GB as I missed the window) and took measurements to answer this for you but I see MQQSE already got you the information you were looking for.

The one additional thing I'll add is a shot of the two mirrors beside each other - original TRD Sport mirror and the ProEFX unit replacing it:

GB is over, whats the chance of still picking up a pair of the all black with power and heat?

It might happen but not for a while, some of the inventory needs to be replenished.

    Very Happy with my mirrors!!!
Heater works very well! Love that feature.
There is a little shake when mirror is rotated up 90degrees for towing but I don't mind it. I really like the convex wide view mirror in the corner.
